Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has had very few movies released last year the most noticeable one was Jodhaa Akbar. This year though is different, as she has packed it up with number of projects. There are directors with whom you work to but somehow things do not work out, as you want to. Therefore, when you finally have a chance you do not want to spoil it and that is the reason for me doing so many movies this year.

Vishal Bharadwaj has finally been able to sign Aish. He wanted to work with her since the time he was a music director but not having a script that would have suited her kept them from working together. Vishal has come a long way with movies like Omkara and Maqbool. He has changed the careers of the actresses. Kareena kapoor finally had the center stage after her performance in Omkara and remains her best until date.

Vishal has Kaminay lined up for release and he will be hoping for similar success. Aish and Vishal pairing will also be hoping for similar success. Aish also has a movie then with Rituparno Ghosh with whom she has done critically acclaimed movies like Raincoat and Choker Bali. Then there is a movie alongside husband Abhishek Bachchan directed by Abhinay Deo. She says that when doing a movie she makes it a point to do different roles. We can see that from their last movies like Guru, Dhoom 2 and Sarkar Raj.

Finally, we have the two Padma Shri recipients coming back together. We are talking about Aish and Akshay Kumar who share the screen space once more after Khakee. Vipul Shah will be directing this one.
