A R Rahman has come out and clarified that he has never had any talks with Himesh Reshamiya about working together. He says all that he knows about Reshamiya is through the press. He says that it was in the newspapers that he read that Himesh wanted to sing for him and now he is hearing that he will sing for him only if he is being offered a movie. He says that he has had no correspondence with Himesh whatsoever and they have no plans of working together in the future.

He is also happy with the way the year 2008 passed. He said that he is happy with the music he has given in the year. He said that he has learned a lot by working with directors of different generations. The music composer also won the Golden Globe for his music in the movie Slumdog Millionaire. He also stands a good chance of winning the Oscars for the best music score. He says that he never planned for all this to happen in this way. He says that God has been grateful and kind to him.

The composer says that with all the commitments to the directors he is finding it difficult to complete his private projects. He also wants to find more time for his music school. He says that one day he will be able to give more voices to the industry from his school. He shares his dream saying that he wants to have an orchestra having students from his school of music.

Rahman has given a variety of music like melodies in Yuvraaj and fast tracks in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. He says that he will try and giving the audiences a mix of melodies and fast tracks. He is also having Delhi 6 lined up for release.
