Jackky Bhagnani has received mix comments for his performance in the movie Kal Kisne Dekha so far. The collections at the box office have not been too great either but he seems to be making name for himself. Now the credit for all this goes to his father Vashu Bhagnani who did all he could. In addition, huge thanks would go to Shahrukh Khan who happily helped Jackky.

When Jackky decided to turn into a professional actor, he decided to attend the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. The institute has produces some of the biggest names in the west including the likes of Matt Damon, Scarlett Johansson, Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts, Adam Sandler and Uma Thurman. From our very own industry Ranbir Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Upen Patel and Shenaz Treasurywala are the ones who have benefitted from the institute.

All was fine until Jackky came to know about a clause, which said that he required a letter of referral. Now that is where SRK came in handy. He was more than willing to sign the referral letter, which landed him there. Even though he has not had a long relationship with Vashu, he was there to help. There might be differences some people might have but overall we are a one big happy family says Vashu.

Jackky had quite a bit of convincing to do to his father before he got his first movie. Vashu had to take the final decision whether or not Jackky had all the qualities in him and whether he had it in him to bring the audiences to the theatres. In the end, he went ahead with the decision and it seems to have been a good one.
