Bollywood movie, Aakhri Insaaf, directed by Kalidas was released in the year 1980. The movie starred Vijayendra Ghatge and Zarina Wahab in lead roles while Pradeep Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Neeta Mehta and Ranjeet also played important characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by the very famous music director Rajesh Roshan while the songs were beautifully rendered by Amit Kumar Ganguly, Chandrani Mukherjee, Lata Mangeshkar etc.

The movie was produced by debutant Ashok Kumar Rawat. Director Kalidas gave chance to two new comers, Vijayendra Ghatge and Zarina Wahab, of the bollywood industry in the film. Both of the actor did their part very beautifully in the film. But unfortunately the movie failed to get success at the box office. Vijayendra played the role of a young guy in the film who seeks justice from a person, who has shattered his family and ruined his life. The movie starred veetran actor Ashok Kumar in an important role and it was his name which attracted audience to the theater to watch the film.

Ashok displayed his superb acting skills in the film. But his single handed efforst were not enough to make the movie a hit among the audience. The music of the film was not also upto mark. None of the song in the movie was attractive enough to be listened again. Though Vijayendra and Zarina proved their mettle in the acting with their performance in the film but the movie just failed to get any success at the box office.
