Aamir Khan and Farhan Akhtar who gave us Dil Chahta Hai seem to have parted ways. When Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani decided to make a movie they went to their friend Aamir and after the meeting, they were not happy with some of the things that happened and now they have decided to go ahead and make the movie with someone else playing the lead role.

There have been reports that reason for the split was Aamir asking a huge fee for the movie and a high percentage of profits. Ritesh was the one who met Aamir to discuss the details of the project on the sets of Three Idiots but when he left, he seemed very unhappy with the way talk ended.Now he also accepted the fact that they were in talks with someone else.

When asked whether they were in talks with Shahrukh Khan he said that it would be nice to work with SRK but did not clear the air.SRK has already replaced Aamir in Reema Kagti’s next movie. When Aamir was asked to comment on issue, he said that money was never an issue. He turned down the part as he was not happy with the script and if that is not right there is no way I will sign a movie.

A close aid of Aamir said that he recently turned down 40 crores for a project, as he was not happy with the script. If we know Aamir the actor, it will be tough to sign him if he does not find the script right even you are a close friend.
