It is not easy to get a second chance after you have a fallout with the distributor of your movie but when you can have Aamir Khan make a few calls and then personally sit in a meeting to sort things out you can be one of those lucky few who get the second chance. Now Aamir was there to rescue his friend Siddharth out of trouble. Now there were no takers for his movie Striker in these times of recession so he decided to take the help of his Rang De Basanti co-star.

Studio 18 were the ones who were to distribute the movie but the producer of the movie Chandan Arora was not at all happy when he found out that the movie was being sold to Studio 18. Now Chandan had a word with the director and went on to ditch studio 18 but he found himself in deep trouble when he was unable to find distributors for his movie.

Now that is when Siddharth gave Aamir a call looking for help and explained to him the entire scenario. Now Chandan still did not want to get on board with Studio 18 but Aamir talked to both the parties and in the end they had a deal with both parties going home happy. Now when Arora was asked to comment on the issue he refrained from saying as to why he bulged finally rather he said that they were no in post production stage and Studio 18 will indeed distribute their movie.

Now in the movie Siddharth will portray the character of an international carom player from the south. The movie deals with the slum life and the sub culture in Mumbai. The movie has been adapted from a real life story.
