Aamir Khan is one of the famous bollywood celebrity of our country. He was born on 14th march 1965 in Bandra, Mumbai. He belongs to a muslim family. He started off his acting career as a child artist in the yesteryear hit flick, Yaadon Ki Baraat which was released in the year 1973. Aamir then made his debut as a leading actor in the year 1984 with the movie titled Holi which was directed by Ketan Mehta. Aamir first cam into limelight after playing the romantic hero in his cousin’s directed movie titled Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. The movie was the first big hit of his career. He starred opposite beautiful Juhi Chawla in the film.

The movie established him as a romantic hero in the bollywood industry. He worked in some other romantic bollywood movies like Dil, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar etc. All of the films did well at the box office. He then tried his hands in comedy as well and worked in a comic caper, Andaz Apna Apna. His superb comic tuning in the film make the audience as well as directors believe that Aamir is indeed a perfectionist in his work. Aamir another blockbuster hit came in the form of Raja Hindustani opposite Karishma Kapoor.

He then did an action packed flick titled Ghulam opposite Rani Mukherjee. He then played a cop in the movie titled Sarfarosh. His next movie cam in the form of Mela in which he was seen alongwith his brother, Faisal Khan. He gave another hit in the year 2001 with cricket based movie, Lagaan. He also directed a film Taare Zameen Par, which did superb at the box office. His last released flick was Ghajini which was the highest grossing film of the year.
