Aamir Khan used to do just a single movie a year but whenever the movie arrived, his fans would just love the work that he would put into it. Now he has decided that he will go on a yearlong break. Now that is disappointing news for all his fans who will now have to wait for an unusually long period. It was a much-needed break though for Aamir who needed to rejuvenate and recharge his batteries.

Aamir wanted to get this break ever since he was directing Taare Zameen Par since he was exhausted playing both the roles of the director and the actor. Soon after that, he got involved in the project Ghajini that took even a lot more out of him both physically and emotionally. Such was the intensity of the role. After that, he got involved into another project in the form of Three Idiots, which has been directed by Raju Hirani.

Now knowing Aamir, it will be very hard for anyone to stop him from taking the break. No script or reasoning would work this time around. He will back to movies and acting only when he feels like. His production house will keep on working though. There will be releases like Delhi Belly directed by Abhinay Deo and Dhobi Ghaat directed by Kiran Rao.

Madhu Mantena who was the producer of Ghajini wanted to sign Aamir for another movie but he will have to wait in the queue just like everyone else before Aamir reads the scripts that they are to offer. Bad news for everyone I guess.
