Abhay Deol is still busy basking in the glory of his last two movies at the box office Dev D and Oye Lucky Lucky Oye. He has packed in powerful performances in each of the movie. The actor has been following a different route as compared to his uncle Dharmendra and cousins Sunny and Bobby followed at the start of their career. The actor after making a decent debut and then doing some good cinema had finally arrived and taken the centre stage.

The actor does not shy away from speaking his mind out. He recently said that he was against the outdated idea of marriage. He says that these days things do not work out like this. The actor has confirmed the news that he has been dating women outside India. The reason being that he does not get celebrity attention over there and can meet women normally as if any other person would do .Only time will tell whether his opinion sees a change or he sticks to it.

The actor is taking large strides in the industry and has opened his production house named Forbidden Films. The name might have been inspired by the kind of roles he has done so far in his career. The actor is having a movie lined up for release alongside Sonam Kapoor. He is also having a movie with Dibakar Banerjee, which is going to be on the floor shortly.

The actor who had a long time off work in New York has made it clear that it was a temporary break and he does not intend to shift his base over there. He says that he is now getting good offers and would like to do meaningful cinema and not the typical roles.
