Abhay Deol has created a separate space in the industry with a string of hits and he is keen to build on his reputation. He had very recently flown down into Mumbai to start the shooting of his next movie Ayesha. In the movie, he will share the screen space with Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor will be producing the movie.

At the moment the preparation are on full swing by the method actor. It will be a conventional movie based on the novel Emma by Jane Austen. Abhay admits that he has not gone through the novel as a part of preparation but also says that all of Austen’s main heroes have some distinctive traits of which he has taken a note. He is at present taking salsa lessons from Ashley Lobo as a part of the preparation for his role.

After that, he will move on to horse riding lessons. When asked how he felt with Imtiaz Ali moving on he replied back saying that if Imtiaz has a role from him he will surely call him and in no way will he desert him and move on. The movie will be hot in the locales of Delhi, Mumbai and Rishikesh. He is in no hurry to sign more movies as he feels he needs to now concentrate on his own production house Forbidden Films.

He is planning to buy for himself a house in New York but is aware that he needs to make huge profits before he can do that. With his production house, he will be able to that and at the same time find his market value. The actor without any qualms admits that he is here for money and not doing charity.
