Bollywood’s hot favorite Jodi, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, is again in the news for their upcoming movie. The duo is working together for Mani Ratnam’s “Raavana”. As heard, this time the duo is going to sing a song in the movie. Mani Ratnam’s favorite music composer A.R.Rahman, who has composed tunes for his project “Lajjo”, is going to use those tones for “Raavana”.

What actually happened to the project “Lajjo”, no one knows, but it is clear that the project is, for the time being, abandoned. For the first time on the big screen, two stunning actors Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan were working together. Lajjo had a song which Rahman wanted Aamir and Kareena to sing. But, as the movie was scrapped, Rahman decided to include that song in “Raavana”. And so Abhi and Ash got the opportunity of singing together for a movie under such a versatile composer.

Aishwarya is playing a part of singer in this film and for this she is learning Carnatic music. His counterpart Abhishek has got an experience of singing on the sets of Bluff master. There was a rapping done by Abhishek for the movie’s title track. So both of them have got something to rely upon and the idea of duo singing together in the film can prove to be an asset for the film.

Mani Ratnam’ s “Raavana” is a big movie and the director is once again using his favorite star cast after he got so much success for the movie “Guru’. The movie’s shooting is in progress. The crew has finished their shooting’s part in Kochi and has now moved to the next stage of shooting in Ooty. The movie is not only made in Hindi language but also in Tamil. In the Tamil version of the movie Aishwarya rai is working opposite Vikram.
