Abhijeet Bhattacharya has lent his magical voice to almost all the top stars of bollywood industry like Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar etc. He was born in a middle class family of UP. But now Abhijeet is one of the top name when it comes to playback singing in bollywood films.

He always dreamt to be the greatest playback singer of bollywood film industry. With the dream of making it big in bollywood, he came to mumbai in 1981. He decided to pursue a career in playback singing and for that left his Charted Accountancy’s course. He was the youngest kid in his family and therefore not opposed too much for his decision to make a career in playback singing.

The life was not so easy for him till he sung three superhit songs for his first film, Baaghi. All of the three songs ‘Ek chanchal shokh haseena‘, ‘Har kasam se badi‘ and ‘Chandani raat hai‘ were termed blockbustor of that time. His soft voice did magic on people. Later he bagged Fimfare Award forBest Male Playback in the year 1997 for Main koi aisa geet gaaoon of Yes Boss.

He also launched couple of private albums including Aashiqui and Tere Bina which were considered chart busters of that time. He never felt insecure with the presence of other talented singers in bollywood like Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu etc. Some of his best songs are considered below:
