All you do not jump out of your seats we are not talking about Uday Chopra over here. We are instead talking about Aditya Chopra’s cousin who will now be making his debut as a director Vikram Singh. Now contrary to the popular belief he will not be directing this movie for the Yashraj camp. He will direct his first movie for Popkorn Entertainment, which is owned by Sunil Shetty.

Now the reason for this move is unknown. The Yashraj banner has been giving out opportunities to new talent for a long time now so when one of their own made a start it is a given that they will lend their support. However, anyways now that Vikram has taken the plunge great things will be expected of him. Aditya set the benchmark with his first movie in the form of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.

Since then he has turned the Yashraj Empire into one of the most influential banner in the industry. He has made his mark as a producer and Vikram will like to follow his footsteps. Vikram is not having an easy ride though so far. He was to have John Abraham playing the lead but then some time later it was finalized that Abhishek Bachchan will play that part along with his other half Aishwarya Rai.

Now it is learned that Ranbir Kapoor has been locked in to play the part. The shoot for the movie is expected to begin in the first month of the next year. Will he be able to create a classic as his brother did when he turned director? We will get out answers only when he releases the movie.
