Having your movie released fifteen years after you have filmed it can be quite embarrassing, as Saif Ali Khan will be finding it out by now. Times change and so does the audiences. What once might have been a good movie might completely not be the flavor at this point of time. Saif is having his movie Sanam Teri Kasam being released fifteen years after it was shot.

The movie failed to release on time owing to the legal battle between producers. Lawrence D’Souza who rose to fame with his movie Saajan even finds the release very amusing. He says had the released back then it would have been a success taking into account that Saif was on a rise after his performance in Yeh Dillagi and the other two lead actors in the movie Pooja Bhatt and Atul Agnihotri had just given a hit in the form of Sir.

It is good that finally the movie will see the light although we all know what the result might be. Saif will be completely cut from the marketing of the movie and will have nothing to say about the movie especially at this time when he is preparing to release his first home production movie. He has come a long way as an actor since the time he did this movie.

Arshad Warsi had a similar embarrassing experience earlier when his movies Kisse Pyar Karoon and Ek Se Bure Do were released years after he had shot for them. Munnabhai had not happened for him and he was not having good scripts to choose from so he did these roles which came back to haunt him.
