It’s been a long time when Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra were seen together in any movie. The last movie in which they worked together was Vipul Shah’s Waqt also starring Amitabh Bachchan in it. Both of them had delivered many hit films together like Aitraaz, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Andaaz.

Now both of them will be seen opposite each other in Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision’s Blue. The other leading pair of the film will be Sanjay Dutt and Lara Dutt. If the reports are to be believed then it’s Akshay who suggested Priyanka’s name to the director of the film.

The movie is supposed to be a action-oriented project. And if action is the theme for any movie then who is better than Akshay Kumar for it. Actually Akshay was confident that Priyanka will do the justice with the action scenes of the movie. The other jodi of Sanjay-Lara also looks quite appropriate for the film.

Akshay’s wife, Twinkle Khanna was having some problems with Priyanka being his husband’s co-actor everytime. So, Akshay decided not to work with Priyanka after the release of Waqt. However many people were trying to cast both of them together in their film but no one got succeeded.
