Akshay Kumar after having a spectacular run at the box office seems to have run out of gas. The actor who made a claim to the number one spot last year has now given three flops in a row. His movies Chandni Chowk To China and Jumbo were complete disasters and now 8X10 Tasveer has also sunk at the box office. Not the kind of start he would have hoped for at the start of the year. Even his diehard fans seem to have deserted him and the loss for his movie 8X10 Tasveer will be around 30 crores if not more.

Last year Akshay was criticized for just sticking to comedy movies. Now after his comedy flick CC2C flopped he tried to do something different with Nagesh but his sci-fiction thriller also flopped. He was not able to make a mence with his first animation movie Jumbo that failed to do the job. That is quite not, what you want with your movies when you are trying to make a claim to the top spot. Akshay has to come up with something better.

Akshay will now try to regain some of the lost pride with his upcoming movies Blue and Kambakht Ishq. The two movies will see him in a completely different avatar. In Blue he will play a scuba diving thief and in and Kambakht Ishq he will palsy a stuntman in Hollywood movies. Both the movies boast of an impressive star caste.

If these movies do not deliver the goods there is nothing more that you can do if your are Akshay. Besides this, he is also having De Dhana Dhan and Housefull that will be releasing by the end of the year.
