Bollywood actor Akshay Khanna whose last venture Mere Baap Pehle Aap failed to do well at the box office, has recently replaced Saif Ali Khan from Farhan Akhtar’s next directional venture. Reportedly, Saif Ali Khan has walked out from the film because of some date problems.

Initially, Farhan Akhtar was keen to take his good friend Saif for the lead role in his next film. But when Saif simply refused to be a part of the film because of some date problems, Farhan decided to go with his another good friend Akshaye Khanna. It is noteworthy that Farhan’s Dil Chahta Hai was the film which actually boosted up the acting career of Saif and Akshay in past.

The movie titled Voices From the Sky is a dream film of Farhan. The movie is all about the evolution of telecommunication system. Initially Saif was also keen to become a part of this film, but in the end the roles goes into the kitty of Akshaye Khanna.

Akshaye too was kicked by the concept of the project and instantly gave his nod to Farhan for it. The shooting for the movie is supposed to be start in the month of November. But one thing is for sure that Saif will really regret for leaving this movie if it would become a big hit in future.
