Amitabh Bachchan is the most decorated star in India and has more experience than any other actor in India has. The Australian University of Queensland observed this fact and decided to honor him with a doctorate for his contribution to the world of entertainment. Now Amitabh finds himself in a tight spot. Over the past few days media has been reporting how the Indian students studying in the Australian universities have been the targets of racist attacks. There have been four attacks in the past one month .The last victim is critically injured and is battling it out in the hospital.

Amitabh’s conscience is not allowing him to go ahead and accept the honor when there have been attacks on his fellow citizens and that too racist ones. The Indian prime minister has expressed his anger and concern over the incidents. The Australian minister too has regretted what has transpired.
