Amitabh recreates the magic of O Re Saawariya

It was around a decade back that Amitabh Bachchan gave his voice to the song O Re Saawariya for his movie Namak Halaal. Both the movie and song went on to be huge hits with the audiences. Now once again the actor would be seen in the classic white kurta and the pink pagadi and he would be seen recreating the magic in the movie Aladin.

Now the music for this movie has been done by the duo of Vishal and Shekhar and they are ecstatic about doing this music of this movie and especially for doing this song with Amitabh. Now while they were working on the song it was Big B who suddenly came up with the idea of alaap and he himself sang the alaap for them. The duo was taken aback by the quality and in a split second decision; they decided to add the alaap at the end of the song with no changes at all.

Now an alaap might be a regular thing to do for a professional singer but for an actor it can be quite a tough job and can at times be next to impossible to get it right. However, Bachchan once again proved his mettle and showed that he belongs to a class of his own by getting the alaap right in the very first try during the recording. Sudesh Bhonsle has sung the song.

Sudesh has done the entire song but the Amitabh added the midas touch in the end by doing the alaap. At the start of the movie, it will be his baritone that the audiences will hear introducing the plot of the movie.
