Amrita Rao recently got appreciation for her work in the movie Welcome To Sajjanpaur. The very well known director Shyam Benegal directed the movie. She played a very innocent village girl in the movie whose husband had to leave the village for work right after their movie. She won the stardust award for her performance in the movie. She says that she could not believe that Shyam Benegal had offered her a role in her movie and now the award was truly overwhelming.

There were rumors stating that she had now refused to work with the ace director Mr.Benegal but she clarified by saying that she could never say no to Shyam Benegal. She also talked about her next release Shortcut in which she is paired opposite Akshay Khanna .She was all praise for Akshay and even went to the extent of saying that he was one of the finest actors that industry has. Anil Kapoor also plays a lead role in the movie. The movie is titled Shortkut.

She is also having a small part in Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s The Legend Of Kunal. She said that nothing has been finalized regarding the shoot of the movie. The actress also clarified that she had no other projects under her belt. She has the belief that if a movie is destined for you to play in it you will get it.

The lady is excited about working with such great directors. Neeraj Vora she said is great as he enacts the scene to you thereby telling you exactly what is needed. She also liked the simplistic yet so majestic work of Shyam Benegal. She is hoping that she will continue to do good work that is appreciated by the audiences.
