A.R.Rahman was known to be best we had in terms of composers and at the Oscars world acknowledged that fact. After the Oscars Rahman has not looks back and instead gone a step ahead in taking Indian music to the global audience. It was no problem for Kylie Minogue to sing a song for the maestro Rahman. She sang two songs for the movie Blue and even performed for one of them. If roping in one of the biggest pop divas was not enough Rahman has gone a step further and now he himself will be featuring in a video.

He has apparently agreed to appear in a music video for Akon. The appearance in the video will be short lived and it will be for a few seconds. He will be seen alongside beautiful girls smiling away in his own peculiar style. The video will also see two other singers from America and Canada respectively. That is what we call making a statement on the international stage.

The composer is also in the final stages of talk with the lead singer of the group Pussy Cat Dolls. Rahman might have again pulled the rabbit out of the hat by signing on Nicole Scherzingerto sing in a Bollywood movie for him. She will also be seen dancing to the tunes of the maestro in Bollywood style .Nicole recently did the opening act for Britney Spear’s tour Circus. She has also recorded the remix version of the Oscar winning track Jai Ho recently.

Rahman is making serious headway on the international scene. This also helps the budding Indian artists in making a name for them.
