Asin might be feeling a bit worried and furious at the same time. The reason for these emotions is due to the fact that her movie The 19th Step has been shelved. In the movie, she was to share the screen space with Kamal Hassan. The project was Indo-Japanese collaboration but it is not going to take place after all. Walt Disney were to produce the movie.

All was going well until Kamal had a serious disagreement with the producers. He decided to leave the movie and after he left there was no movie to direct. Therefore, the project had to be shelved. The reason for the fallout is unknown at this point of time. Now this leaves Asin with a lot of empty times with no movie at her disposal. She turned down many good offers just for this movie.

She has a great deal of respect for Kamal and it was for him that she was doing this movie. She was doing this Tamil movie after a long time and was learning the ancient art form of Kalaripayattu especially for the movie. She turned down huge role in the movies like Dan Dana Dhan and Kartik Calling Kartik. She might be ruing her decision now.

She will be going through some scripts in a hurry now so that he instead of wasting time could do a good movie. After she is finished with London Dreams being directed by Vipul Shah she will have absolutely no work to do. A.R.Rahman who was the music director is also incidentally seeing many of his projects being shelved. Some of them being Lajjo, Marmyogi, The 19th Step and Taj Mahal.
