Ayaan Mukherjee is ready with the release of his movie Wake Up Sid in which the lead roles have been portrayed by Ranbir Kapoor and Konkona Sen Sharma. There have been reports saying that Ayaan introduces his leads by saying that it is a story of a young and a handsome man who has this carefree attitude towards life and his friends who is much older than him and not so good looking. Now Konkona was upset after she came to knew of this and that was expected.

Now Ayaan has come out with a clarification saying that he never said anything like that and all the rumors were started from a community on Facebook. He said that he finds Konkona to be the most beautiful woman he has met and on the final day of the shoot, he was just taken aback by her performance and was in awe of it.

He adds further that the day he watched Saawariya he decided to caste Ranbir for the part for Sid just because of the energy he brings to the screen and he then had to rewrite Konkona’s role and increase her age. She has been around in the industry also for much longer than Ranbir. When asked if he plans to work with Kajol in the future he said maybe if he does well in this one and gets a chance to direct another movie.

On the last day of the shoot, he was very sad because the journey had ended and all of them had to part ways. He was unable to figure out how Karan Johar manages to do this every time he makes a movie.
