Babul Supriyo aka Supriyo Baral got trained in music right from his early days of childhood by his grandfather, Banikantha N. C. Baral who was also a famous Bengali singer. Babul has also performed for radio and television in his childhood days.

Like some other singers did, he also left his job for making a bright career in the feild of singing. He actually started his career by rendering some popular songs of Kishore Kumar for T-series company. Later he got his first break in the form of Zindagi Chaar din ki of Prem Yog, which he sung for Rishi Kapoor.
