Barber removed from SRK’s upcoming Billu Barber

The most awaited and upcoming flick of the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan has already seen some ups and downs even before the release. Who knows if it is a publicity stunt or some real opposition but these days it has become a trend in which the movies faces some opposition from any section of the society before the movie is released. The latest movie that faced this opposition is SRK and of course Irrfan Khan starrer Billu Barber.

Billu Barber found its rival in the members of the Salon and Beauty Parlour Association. It was all fine until one day the President of the Association, Mr Uday Takke, wanted the word ‘Barber’ be removed from the title. Thus he asked the King Khan, Mr. SRK to remove the Barber word from the movie’s title and the reason behind that is that the word Barber is not only a job profession but also represents some people of this caste.

The delegates from various fields and the film cast and crew were involved in a meeting at SRK’s residence Mannat last weekend and Shah Rukh Khan has decided to drop the word ‘Barber’ from the title with immediate effect. The title of the film is now Billu only without the name Barber and the posters will be incorporating the change very soon.

SRK’s intentions were very clear with the change as he didn’t want any controversies with the film and nor he wanted to hurt the sentiments of any section of the society.
