Yesteryear bollywood romantic crime drama, Bedard Zamana Kya Jane, directed by babubhai Mistri was released in the year 1959. The movie starred Ashok Kumar and Ratnamala in lead roles while Pran, Jabeen Jalil, Shaikh, Master Chikoo, Iftekhar, Helen, Nirupa Roy, Amirbai Karnataki and Sudesh Kumar also played important characters in the film. The hit evergreen music of the movie was directed by the well known music director duo Kalyanji Anand ji while the songs were beautifully crooned by Mohammed Rafi, Mukesh, Geeta Dutt and Lata Mangeshkar.

The movie starts with a guy named Ashok ( Ashok Kumar ), who is a barrister by profession. He is a widower as his wife died in an accident. Ashok is living a wealthy lifestyle in the city alongwith his sister-in-law and a young son named Ramesh ( Master Chikoo ). He come across a beautiful women named Kamla ( Nirupa Roy ), who is homeless. He brings her home and she starts living in the house. She is liked by Ramesh and soon he starts treating her like his own mother.

Ashok then decides to get married to Kamla for the sake of Ramesh’s feeling. But after few days of their marraige, Ashok starts noticing a change in Kamla’s behaviour. He get suspicious over her behaviour and decides to investigate about it. He get shcoked to learn that Kamla is having an illicit affair with another guy. He also reveals that she got married to him only for his wealth and nothing else.
