The year 2009 marks the beginning of a new chapter in Bipasha’s life-with crossing 30 years milestone; a new home; a role in Bengali director Rituparno Ghosh’s movie which could make it possible for her to get a National Award and some buried old hatchets.

Last year was also a tremendous year for her. Bipasha starrer “Race” got good response at the box office and “Bachna Ae Haseeno” created waves among the audience. Bipasha also signed some other projects last year. In December she was busy with the shooting of “Lamha” which is directed by Rahul Dholakia. Before that, Bipasha and Neil Nitin Mukesh were shooting for the movie “Aa Dekhen Zara”. Both of these movies are going to release this year.

Two of her movies, “Pankh” and other a Bengali Movie “Shob Charitro Kalponik”, are also due to release this year. “Shob Charitro Kalponik” is directed by the famous Bengali director Rituparna Ghosh. Bipasha explained that the things went quiet because she wanted it to go that way only and she was happy that it happened so.

When Kareena Kapoor and Bipasha Basu did “Ajnabee” they were loggerheads, but the things have changed now. Bipasha said that now they have become completely different persons. They have evolved through time and they know what they are capable of. She also made it clear that she and Katrina Kaif are not too good friends.

Bipasha liked the act of John Abraham, who is also her boyfriend, in the movie “Dostana” and said that his act was very much entertaining. She said that she watched the movie 5 times and enjoyed every time.

Since her entry into Bollywood and till now Bipasha has learned many things and has climbed step by step to reach this stage. She has matured as an actress and has become quite good in her business.
