Prateik Babbar seems to making all the right moves in his career so far. He started with a small performance in Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na but even with that, he managed to leave a mark with his performance as his director Abbas Tyrewala had assured his aunt Manya. Now he is all set to star in a movie that will be produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Sanjay always wanted to work with his mother Smita Patil but never got a chance but now he has an opportunity to produce a movie starring her son. Raghav Dar will be directing the movie who will be making his debut after assisting n movies like Jaane Tu and Guru. It was during the shoot of Jaane Tu that both of them decided to get together to work whenever they got a chance to do so.

The movie has been titled My Friend Pinto and it will apparently be his first movie in which Prateik has a full-fledged role. This movie will be his third movie to release, as he will be seen doing a cameo in the movie Dhobi Ghaat that stars Aamir Khan. Prateik’s aunt Manya is happy for him seeing the kind of progress he is making.

She says that he today is in apposition where he can do variety of cinema and not just stick with one genre. She says that she will always be there in case he needs help. Prateik is excited to work with Sanjay Bhansali. He feels that Sanjay is so grounded despite being a director of such high caliber and talent.
