Bollywood romantic horror drama, Bin Badal Barsaat, directed by Jyoti Swaroop was released in the year 1963. The movie starred Biswajeet and Asha Parekh in lead roles while Mehmood, Moni Chatterjee, Dev Kishen, S. N. Banerjee, Nishi and Padma Chuahan also played significant characters in the film. The melodious musc of the movie was composed by the well known music director Hemanta Mukherjee while the songs were sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Hemanta Mukherjee himself.

There is a curse on the Thakur family that whenever a male get married, his wife will die within the period of one year. The curse has come true over the years. Whole Thakur family is living under the threat of the curse from several years. Newly announced Thakur, Prabhat ( Biswajeet ) visits Neelamghat for few days. There he get attracted towards a beautiful girl named Sandhya Gupta ( Asha Parekh ). Sandhya is the only daughter of a local doctor of Neelamghat named Dr. Gupta.

Dr. Gupta learns about Prabhat and Sandhya. He asks Sandhya to introduces him to Prabhat. After meeting with him, Dr. Gupta decides to get them married. But Prabhat refuse to get married to Sandhya and tells them about the curse under which his whole family is living from several years. What will Sandhya do now? Whether she will remain on her decision of getting married to Prabhat or not?
