A lot of Bollywood stars have decided that they will not be campaigning for any party since Sanjay Dutt was not allowed to contest the elections from Lucknow. The Supreme Court took the decision. The People’s Law article 8 clearly states that anybody who has been sentenced for over two years in prison cannot be allowed to contest Lok Sabha Elections. Sanjay accepted the decision from the honorable court but the incident has left a sour taste in the mouth of many people.

Many of the top party workers of various parties have also confessed that this time around it will be difficult to convince the actors to rally for them. Govinda has taken a step back. Industry artists like Irfan Khan and Madhur Bhandarkar have come out in open and said that will campaign for ant candidate if they know what he wants to do and if they completely trust him.

Shatrughan Sinha will also have to give double duty, as he will be seen as the star campaigner for his party. Now besides appearing in the rally in his area he will also have to rally for his other party candidates. Sinha also commented that one should refrain form making communal remarks. Looks like the Bollywood stars would give the elections a miss this time around and would be packing off for a holiday this election season.

However, there is some good news as Aamir Khan has asked the youth to come out and vote and so has Imraan Khan. Amitabh Bachchan might also make an appearance in one of Amar Singh’s rally though Aishwarya Rai has made it clear that she does not intend to contest elections at any point of time.
