Shah Rukh Khan starrer, CHAK DE INDIA, has got overwhelming response from audience from the first week. The movie actually remind us about our national game, which is HOCKEY not cricket. To revive the people interest in this neglected national game, the team of CHAK DE INDIA will play a exhibition hockey match against a team of Bollywood stars. The match will be played by the teams on 11th september at Astroturf-laden Hockey Stadium( Chandigarh).

The CHAK DE INDIA team will be lead by his on screen captain, Vidya Malvade. While the Bollywood team team will be lead by Suneil Shetty. Suneil Shetty is also assigned as their brand ambassador by . But before this match one more exhibition match is also supposed to be played between hockey teams of India and Pakistan.

By the time Indian Hockey Federation is trying everything to cash the success of CHAK DE INDIA. But they are also trying to popularise our national game, Hockey among masses.
