Chitrangada Singh made her impressive debut with Sudhir Mishra’s movie Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi. It is not some hidden fact that the two are very good friends and always like to work with each other due to the level of comfort they enjoy. She will now be doing a project titled Homecoming with director. The story will be based on the life of Sudhir himself. The movie will be shot in his hometown of Sagar in Madhya Pradesh.

The movie will be sort of a biography. The movie will be about a woman who goes back to her roots. She goes back to the hometown to return the favor to the man who once helped her in a very critical situation. The movie is going to be a political potboiler. Sudhir will make use of the things he saw, as a kid. His maternal grandfather was the chief minister of the state.

The movie the plight of the people who suffer and those who make them suffer in context with the political system prevailing over there. The movie will display both sides including the privileged people and the under privileged ones that is the ones who protest. He has been working on the script for close to two months now.

The relatively new Arunoday Singh will play the male lead. Sudhir’s project titled Dhruv, which will be produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, has been delayed a bit as Farhan Akhtar and Kareena Kapoor who he wants to play the lead are presently unavailable. He is ready to wait and shoot homecoming in the meantime. He recently saw Muddassar Aziz’s directorial movie Dulha Mila Gaya and was impressed by his style of storytelling.
