Chunky could have bagged a role in Slumdog

Chunky Pandey is spending many of these days regretting his decision to go ahead and sign the movie Ek-The Power of One. According to him, if not for this movie he could have scaled much greater heights. The actor never saw his career take off though he did have a few god movies here and there. The way it has shaped up it looks like he will be remembered as a person who did some god comedy movies. His most noticeable movies came in the early nineties in the form of Vishvatma and Aankhen.

After that, he had a very big slump in his career. He has tried to make a comeback but all in vain. His recent movies in which he put a noticeable performance are the remake of Don, Apna Sapna Money Money and Qayamat: City Under Threat. The performances do not do justice to the talent he showed when he first came to the screen.

The actor says that he could have been a part of Slumdog Millionaire if things would have worked out for him in a better way. He said that Loveleen Tandon who was the co director of Slumdog wanted him to do a film for Mira Nair a few years back but he instead chose to do Ek-The Power Of One. Now when he looks back he thinks what if he had done the movie with Mira Nair and put in a good performance.

Loveleen Tandon might have liked his performance and he could have landed himself with a part in Slumdog Millionaire directed by Danny Boyle. Time once gone by cannot be brought back. He seems to have moved on and has movies like De Dhana Dhan, Hello Darling, Khallballi - Fun Unlimited, Paying Guest and Shortkut - The Con Is On releasing this year.
