One day while watching an interview of Clint Eastwood he heard him say that he decided to make movies when his friend told him that it was a Malpaso. Malpaso means a bad idea in Spanish and to prove him wrong Clint went ahead with the production house.

Saif was having the idea of starting his own company for some time but the interview gave him the much-needed momentum. It was then that Saif decided to open his own company Illuminati films with his friend Dinesh Vijan. Now the name of the movie has another interesting story attached to it. Saif also turns out to be a fan of Dan Brown. That is from where he got the name of his company.

Illuminati are a group of people in the novel Angels And Demons that will be releasing as a movie this week worldwide starring Tom Hanks. He wanted to make movie that would enlighten people and that is what is the meaning of illuminati to make lighter or brighter. He has now come along way and is on the verge of releasing his first movie Love Aaj Kal.

The movie will see him in the lead role along with Deepika Padukone. Imtiaz Ali has directed this one. Wonder whether he will be playing director any time soon following the footsteps of his idol Clint Eastwood who directed Changeling last year starring Angelina Jolie.
