The comedy movie, Daddy Cool, directed by K Murli Mohan was released August 28, 2009. The movie starred Sunil Shetty, Aashish Chaudhary and Kim Sharma in lead roles while Javed Jaffrey, Rajpal Yadav, Chunkey Pandey, Kim Sharma, Sophie Chaudhary, Prem Chopra, Aarti Chabbaria, Tulip Joshi, Aftab Shivdasani and Sharat Saxena also played important roles in the film. The melodious music of the film is directed by Raghav Sachar, Farhad and Sajid in collaboration while the songs were sung by Raghav Sachar, Neha Bhaseen, Amit Kumar etc.

The movie starts with a guy named Steven Lazarus ( Sunil Shetty ), who looses his father Douglas ( Sharat Saxena ). The funeral of his father is arranged by Steven in Goa. He asks his brother, Brian ( Ashish Chaudhary ) to arrive there as soon as possible. Brian is a famous novelist. Steven then also ask all his relative to come at the funeral. His relative includes, cousin sister, Maria ( Tulip Joshi ), friend, Carlos ( Javed Jaffrey ), uncle murphy ( Prem Chopra ) and few others. Maria’s boyfriend is mistakenly doped by her brother, Harry ( Chunkey Pandey ).

Maria’s boyfriend, Michael ( Aftab Shivdasani ) then starts behaving like a stupid there. Steven’s wife has her own problems as she does not want to live with Steven’s rude mother. She has already started forcing Steven to buy a new seperate flat for them. Steven come across a suspecious visitor named Andrew ( Rajpal Yadav ) at funeral. Steven get shocked when Andrew tells him that he is the lover of his father. Steven and Brian refuse to believe that they are the sons of a gay.
