There are some people who do not want to learn from their mistakes or they think they never made a mistake in the first place. The director David Dhawan also known as the comedy king is also one of them. He was criticized by a section of a media when he entirely copied the plot of the movie Hitch starring Will Smith and made the movie Partner starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. Now the director is at it again and seems to be doing a similar thing.

The plot of his movie seems Hook Ya Crook seems to have been copied from the Adam Sandler starrer The Longest Yard. The posters that have been released also seem quite similar in theme to the Adam Sandler starrer. In The Longest Yard Sandler played an ex NFL player who was put in jail for reckless driving. There he assembles a team of inmates who take on the officers in a game of rugby.

Here also we see John Abraham playing a role similar to that of Adam Sandler. The game here will be cricket and the rest of the plot remains the same. Not quite, what you expect from an ace Bollywood director. Even the posters that have been released see all the prisoners in handcuffs as did the prisoners in the posters of The Longest Yard. It is time that the audiences got to see something original and not what they have already seen.

John Abraham in the meanwhile has taken time off after he almost suffered a heat stroke while shooting in the scorching heat of Hyderabad. John is also having his movie New York line up for release and he will hope to continued with the success if his last movie Dostana.
