Deepa Mehta has finished dubbing her movie Heaven On Earth in Hindi and Punjabi. The movie has been titled Videsh and the movie is expected to release in some time soon. Some of the people were disappointed when they heard that the movie was originally made in English and then dubbed in Hindi but Deepa was quick to clarify the movie was shot in Punjabi and then dubbed. The story revolves around a Punjabi family how have found home in Canada and are living there.

The movie will see Preity Zinta in the lead role along with the debutant Vansh Bharadwaj. Deepa was very impresses by the preparation Preity had done to get under the skin of the character. She said things like these help you to give power packed performances and she appreciated the effort put in by Preity. She was also all praise for the newcomer Vansh and was quick to say that she noticed the talent in him in their first meeting.

Vansh seems to have proved himself in the eyes of Deepa to get compliments like these. She says that she was present during the entire dubbing sessions with the actors so that the movie does not lose its feels. Deepa has previously worked with Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan in the movie Earth that was very well received with the critics. She is again willing to work with Aamir provided she has a strong script for him. She also liked his performance in the biggest blockbuster last year Ghajini.

Deepa will be hoping that the audiences give thumbs up to his movie Videsh and that is the likely result seeing the record of accomplishment of the director.
