Her next movie Bachna Ae Haseeno alongside Ranbir Kapoor though not a super hit did fairly well at the box office counter. Her next and much hyped movie Chandni Chowk To China alongside Akshay Kumar was complete disaster and now she is trying to bounce back.

Her next movie that will be releasing Is Love Aaj Kal .She shares the screen space with Saif Ali Khan. Imtiaz Ali who directed the movie Jab We Met is directing the movie. The audiences and Deepika will be hoping that Imtiaz will re create the magic in Love Aaj Kal. Deepika says that as the time is passing by she is maturing everyday in this industry. She has made it a point to read the entire script before signing on for a movie.

Her dream role is to play the character of Audrey Hepburn in movies like Roman Holiday and Breakfast at Tiffany’s. She recently walked the ramp for Ranna Gill and Rina Dhaka at Will Lifestyle Fashion Week. She is also happy that the roles that she is getting are challenging and that she would like to more movies that have a lot of action in it.

She is also having a movie with Farhan Akhtar titled Kartik Calling Kartik. The movie is a psychological thriller and is kind of an offbeat movie. The actress also revealed that she is not much of a reader but the book she is reading currently named Kite Runner might be the best piece of work that she has come across.
