Hollywood production companies are making big inroads to cash in on the Indian Film Industry’s tremendous potential, what with Sony Motion Pictures being one of the first to completely present an Indian movie, targeted mainly at the Indian audience, that is Saawariya, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next. And now the reports are coming in that another bog production company from the West, Warner Bros’ is making every effort possible to make it’s first foray into Bollywood, a special one, taking every step with complete caution.

Warner Bros’ first Bollywood movie, (ironically) titled Made In China, will star none other than our action hero turned serious cinema actor, Akshay Kumar. He was the one who got rave reviews in the 90’s for doing most of his stunts on his own. And in this movie he’ll be joined by none other than the supermodel-turned-actress whose launch in Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om is being touted as the most awaited one, Deepika Padukone. And with this movie, it is being said that Akshay will be doing an out and out action role after more than six years.

And for the action in the movie, the ’soft-hard’ ancient Chinese martial art style, known as Wushu, is being used to make the action look different and slick, to make every impression in the right manner. And the movie will be directed by none other than Nikhil Advani, who rose to huge fame with Kal Ho Na Ho, and also crash landed with this year’s biggest flop show Salaam-E-Ishq, which affirmed the fact that his credentials dipped when he left the Johar camp. Deepika has been reported to be undergoing rigorous training in Wushu, which is also practiced regularly by stars like Jet Li, and Jackie Chan. We hope that Deepika gives the khiladion ka khiladi Akshay, a tough competition on screen as Mrs/Ms Khiladi, and gets every move, and kick right. For more on the movie, stay tuned.
