Deepika Padukone was in Delhi to launch a show room for Swiss watch brand Tissot. They have launched a complete new range of watches and she being the brand ambassador was there for the opening of the showroom. Now for all those who were present in Connaught Place area on Thursday would have noticed that.

Huge crowds gathered over that area to catch a glimpse of their favorite star and maybe even get an autograph. The decorations that were done using flowers all went a waste when they were not able to hold against the large crowd. A teenager who was amongst the crowd went home disappointed when she never even got a glimpse of the star due to the crowd.

A news reporter said that it was utter chaos. She backed off to save her life, as there was every possible chance of a stampede. Deepika who was dressed in a short green dress did not stay over there for long. Her stay over there was just about twenty minutes long. She spoke to the media in that time answering questions about her association with Tissot.

She also spoke of her movie Love Aaj Kal that is ready for release. The movie will be a complete family entertainer shedding light on how love used to be in the yester years and how it is in today’s fast-paced life. She said the movie was very close to her and Saif Ali Khan. Imtiaz Ali will be hoping to repeat the success he had last year with his movie Jab We Met.
