Deepika Padukone had a very bad outing with her last movie Chandni Chowk To China. The movie received very bad reviews and was ripped apart by the audiences and critics. Not every film you work in will be a hit. Deepika has come to terms with this harsh reality and has moved on. If you look at her career graph, she has been good in the roles and scripts she has chosen.

Deepika has been offered many scripts but the actress just does not want to go on a signing spree. She says that you need not sign four five movies but just a good movie or two. She is currently enjoying a much needed time off from work. She will surely be making use of this time to spend quality time with Ranbir Kapoor who is also in Mumbai for a shoot.

After the break, she will begin the work on Kartik calling Kartik. She will be sharing the screen space with Farhan Akhtar for the first time. The movie will be released under the banner of Excel Entertainment. She has also completed the schedule of Saif Ali Khan starrer Love Aaj Kal. The time off from work would have helped her recharge her batteries and be back with a vengeance.

She recently said that she was at a very crucial stage in her career and that she should focus on her work. The actress knows what she is talking about and has until now managed her relationship with Ranbir and her career perfectly. Not being greedy while signing movies is also a good sign that she is looking at the larger perspective and she has no aim of disappearing from the scene after just a few movies.
