Even after so many years in the industry a face like Dia Mirza and with all her acting potential, she is yet to make a permanent place for herself amongst the top actors. Even today, she is not having any major movies in her kitties and the maximum number of time you see her on screen it is either a cameo or a performance hardly in sync with the real movie plot.

Maybe she is not getting the rights scripts or maybe she is selecting the wrong whatever the case she needs to work it out or the time her moment is bound to pass by. She will be seen playing a cameo in the movie Kurbaan that stars bigwigs like Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor  in it. Karan Johar who has directed the movie approached her with an offer with another part but again a cameo.

Having gone down that road once, this time around Dia turned down the request. The role offered to her was for the movie I Hate Love Stories, which is being made under the banner of Dharma productions and is being directed by Punit Malhotra. Sonam Kapoor and Sammir Dattani portray the lead with Imran Khan making his presence felt as a parallel lead.

Dia backed out saying she was busy with other commitments however the fact that she does not want to do a cameo in a movie starring actors from her generation might be the true reason. She will be seen in the movie Acid Factory next again a multi starrer like all her previous movies.
