What we call to some cowboys who fall in love and their life entered in a new phase. Well this film is about three fun loving character boys with strong friendship aka buddies bond between them and how their life gets a shade of love and responsibility. It’s a light-hearted film which can be seen many times as soon as you not fall in a habit of grabing the dialogues on your tongue.
The film was directed by Farhan Akhtar, son of the legend Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani, with a astonishing star cast comprise of Aamir Khan, Priety Zinta, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Kulakarni, Akshaye Khanna and Dimple Kapadia. But apart from its screenplay and story line which made this film a blockbuster is it’s music given by none other than the only trio Shankar-Ehsaan and Loy.

The album consists of eight beautiful love themed tracks whose lyrics given by Javed saab on some hardest compositions. ‘Dil chahta hai’ title track sung by Shankar is very quirky and fun loving song. Whereas ‘Tanhai Tanhai’ still the songs of many hardcore devdas crowd sung by Sonu Nigam is very soothing and touching. Apart from this ‘Jaane Kyon’ by Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan is marvelous with phenomenon composition picturised on Priety Zinta and Aamir Khan.
‘Who Ladki Hai Kahan’ by Shaan and Kavita Krishanmurthy is a frolic puzzle and glee of life which scores fully high. The film has a soul in it and that has beautifully captured by music as well as lyrics of the songs.
It’s X-generation film who made the debut director Farhan an overnight star director. The film revolves around three guys just living for fun with their three distinctive nature and fall in love. But there is a secret in the film that Akshay Khanna falls on a crush on a divorced elderly aged women played by Dimple Kapadia who died at the end due to cancer. But the spice of gossip is the actor received so many proposals after that from many elite aged women.
