After the great, successful movies like Gangajal and Apahran, Prakash Jha is back with another flick….Dil Dosti Etc…the movie is all about how the young generation of today want to live their lives. Movie revolves around two guys, Apoorv( played by Imad Shah), a rich l from a reputed family, who is always in search of female skin. The other guy is Sanjay Mishra (Shreyas Talpade), a student-politician from a conservative family, very much keen about the upcoming university elections in which he is standing n aiming win..

Both the characters have been shown contradicting each other in every aspect. For Apoorv, “love” is just another four letter word in the dictionary. On the other hand Sanjay has some very good thoughts about love. Most parts of the film are shot in Delhi University Campus area and other parts of Delhi. Female leads are played by Smriti Mishra, Nikita Anand and Ishita Sharma. Smriti plays a role of a prostitute (Vaishali) who never trust anyone so easily. Prerna (Nikita Anand) is an aspiring super model and a student of final year, who gets attracted towards the humble nature of Sanjay. The third lady, Kintu (Ishita Sharma) is a school girl, with whom Apoorv wants to try all raunchy stuff.

University elections are just a small part of movie. Big part concentrates on the relation between Apoorv and Sanjay and how it persists till mysterious accident in the end.
Shreyas, as usual has done justice to the role so has Imad tried to but is not so impressive with his rich boy looks. All three ladies looked apt for the role.

Manish Tiwary (director) has done a decent job for his first project. Music of the movie is unusual, given by Agnee band and Siddharth-Suhas. Opening track, “dum laga” is very catchy. The last song of the movie “man moniye” by Labh Janjua is a good perky number for dj’s.

Overall, the movie has done justice to the issue they wanted to raise to the audience. It is not the movie for masses but for some selected class of people specially young generation of today.
