Raj Kapoor and Nutan Behl starrer musical romantic thriller, Dil Hi To Hai, was released in the year 1963. The movie was directed by C. L. Rawal and written by G. L. Rawal. The other starcast of the movie includes Agha, Hari Shivdasani, Padmini Priyadarshani, Leela Chitnis, Mumtaz Begum, Sabita Chatterjee, Nasir Hussain and Pran in significant roles. The melodious music of the movie was directed by well known veteran music director Roshan while the songs were crooned by Mukesh, Lata Mangeshkar, Manna Dey, Suman Kalyanpur etc.

The movie was a supense thriller which contained every element of typical bollywood masala flick. The movie starred Raj Kapoor in the lead role of Yusuf. Raj Kapoor has given an absolute stunning performance in the film. He has managed to keep audience sticked to the movie till the end. Nutan Behl has played the female lead role of Jamila Banu in the film. She looked very beautiful in the film and also did a superb performance as a mysterious lady in the film.

The story of the movie revolves around a women and his two sons. The climax of the movie was shot on the two guys fighting with each other and trying to get hold on the revolver. One of them managed to get the hold on the revolver but instead of shooting the another guy points the gun towards the women, who is none other than her own mother. The songs of the movie also reflects the suspense in the film.
