Divya Dutta has been a part of very good flicks recently. Her role of Jalebi in the movie Delhi 6 was widely appreciated by the audiences. Though the roles required her to make use of abusive language, Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra convinced her that she could carry it off. After she shed those inhibitions, her character came out very well.

Now the news is that Divya has gone a step ahead and done an item number in the movie Haat, The Weekly Bazaar. Seema Kapoor is directing this one and Divya is very excited about her character and the item song. She said that she came to know at the very end that she would be performing in front of a live audience in a village in Rajasthan.

When Divya heard this she had butterflies I her stomach, as she had never done a live performance like his one before in a movie. Always there are junior artistes and crewmembers but dancing on an item number in front of villagers is not what you can prepare for. When the actual performance began, some villagers started whistling and that proved a confidence booster for her she says. There were even some fifty-paisa coins thrown by the villagers and not the crew.

The lady came to prominence after Veer Zaara and last year she had a hit in the form of Welcome To Sajjanpaur. She has been appreciated in Delhi 6 and she will be hoping that her career graph gets better with her next release Pui Pui. The actress is getting better with each movie receiving more appreciation than ever before.
