Bollywood musical romantic movie, Door Gagan Ki Chhaon Mein, directed by Kishore Kumar was released in the year 1964. The movie starred Kishore Kumar and Supriya Chaudhary in lead roles while Nana Palsiker, Leela Mishra, Amit Ganguly, Iftekhar, Raj Mehra, Sajjan and Shashikala also played important characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by Kishore Kumar himself and the songs were rendered Hemanta Mukherjee, Asha Bhonsle etc.

Kishore, who was famous for his superb comic timing actually shown his serious side in the movie. The story of the movie revolves around a father and son relationship. Kishore displayed his excellent acting skills in the film and was equally supported by the Supriya Chaudhary. Supriya played the female lead in the film.
