With the entire Bollywood going through recession and battling to keep the budgets of their movie in check Ekta Kapoor has one ahead and almost doubled the budget of her movie. Now this move comes after the reports saying that she was going through a financial crunch and facing problems managing her finances. The movie we are talking about here is Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, which is being directed by Milan Luthria.

Now she just did not raise the budget from eight crores to 15 crores just for no reason. She had done her homework and made the decision only after she saw some part of the movie that had been shot until that time. Emraan Hashmi who plays the lead in the movie has put in a great performance and such an impression he left on Ekta after she saw the first gushes of the movie.

The movie revolves around the underworld that existed in the sentries and to depict that in the movie you need a bigger budget to work with. Now almost one fourth of the movie has already been shot and now with more money being pumped in the speed of work is bound to get increased a bit. Now Ajay Devgan who also plays a pivotal role in the movie has not shot yet but will soon start the shoot of the movie.

The movie will be an anticipated with Emraan riding on a wave of success and also due to the fact that the role he has in the movie is tailor made for him.
