If anybody thinks that due to the global meltdown all fresh projects, which were announced but couldn’t hit the floors, have been stopped then they are completely mistaken. It is sure that some movies have been stopped for the time being, but it is not that all the new projects have been put on hold or aborted.

Aftab Shivdasani, who is a Bollywood Actor, wants to turn into a producer and to give shape to his dreams; Aftab will leave no stones unturned. The director of the debut Movie of Aftab as a producer will be Glen Baretto. The film is a fairytale and its script is written by Aftab and Ravinder Manga jointly. Aftab has said that lots of things are happening and he will be announcing his film very shortly.

As far as acting is concerned, Aftab has 4 films under his belt. All his 4 movies are going to be released in the 1st half of the year 2009. His year begins with “Aloo Chaat”, a rom-com, which will be followed u by Indra Kumar’s total comedy “Daddy Cool”. After Daddy Cool, the next in the line is a thriller movie “Acid Factory”, which is directed by Suparn Verma/Sanjay Gupta. And finally “Kambakkht Ishq”, a big movie in which he is acting along with Kareena and Akshay and Hollywood stars like Brandon Routh, Denise Richards and others.

Now the question which arises is what was Aftab doing all these days? Where was he? To this Aftab says that he was bit more concerned about his career and was concentrating on that. He also added that the production of film and related activities take a lot of time.

In the year 2009 we will get another producer in the face of Aftab Shivdasani and definitely this year is going to turn his career.
