Why is it that whenever there is a movie being shot there is a prankster on the sets who will play these dumb pranks, which end up in the making of the movie documentary? There might be no single answer to the question but Farhan Akhtar played the role of the prankster on the sets of the movie Kartik Calling Kartik.

In one particular scene, he was requires to faint to the ground after an incident which involved telephone wire wrapped around his neck choking him. When the director Vijay Lalwani was doing a test try with the coiled telephone wire by wrapping it around the neck of Farhan, he was in for a real scare after Farhan collapsed on the ground after he applied some force on the coil. The immediate response was to cushion his head and rub his palms and feet.

They even made a call for an ambulance and it was only ten minutes later when Farhan sprang back up and ended the prank. Farhan had a partner in crime who was cinematographer Sano Varghese. He was the only one on the sets who knew that it was prank. Vijay had his heart in his mouth and he had even called up producer Ritesh Sidhwani minutes after the incident.

The phone was not answered however, which prevented the spread of the prank even further. Frankly speaking, it is too old a prank and a silly one to fall for. Who knows what would have happened had the call gone through, it would not have taken much time for the story to be reported as breaking news on the 24X7 news channels.
